Beginning at a very young age, I've always had a heart for helping people. I wanted to change the world but in an unconventional, authentic way.
I was different. My mom gave me the nickname “Butterfly”. She sensed that the gifts wrapped up inside of me would one day emerge. Boy, was she was right.
I studied at a top Florida university (Go Gators!) and launched my professional career in the sports and entertainment industry 13 years ago. I’ve helped build brands like BET.COM, various high-profile celebrities, and the Orlando Magic.
In my role with the Magic for 10 “magical” years, I led a small market team to the national spotlight through building social platforms that received the NBA’s “Best in Class” recognition, built two NBA players’ community brand strategy whom received the NBA’s highest honor, the NBA Monthly Community Assist Award. I also led the growth of their youth engagement strategy to rank #3 in the league among all NBA teams in most kids impacted.
Lastly, I was instrumental in creating cause branding strategies that advanced both social impacts and sales while making real connections with stakeholders which resulted in million dollar corporate partnerships. As I studied the social industry more, I noticed a desire for brands to grow beyond stamping their logo on a community event. A need to go deeper. A need to impact our communities and while driving new business. A need for strategic philanthropy, transformational marketing, integrated public relations strategies, and meaningful events. Hence the birth of Graham Leak Branding.
